Keeping it Traditional - 26 July 2014

Our string trio was hired to play for a traditional Jewish ceremony in Roslyn. The temple was spacious and beautifully decorated -- and rightfully so as there were over 200 guests in attendance! And the sound -- such great acoustics, possibly the best in any temple we've been in so far! The couple selected a modern music program centered around The Beatles so it was fun to play non-traditional music in a traditional setting. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

A Beyoncé Brunch - 20 July 2014

Our first engagement party ... and it was a fun one. One a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we were hired to provide music for an engagement party brunch right in Manhattan. Our string trio performed a mixture of familiar classical tunes and current top 40 pop and R&B hits by Beyoncé, Bruno mars, John Legend, and Rihanna. The crowd love hearing songs they were familiar with and were up and dancing to their favorites. The hosts even offered us food from the lovely brunch buffet! What a great Sunday!

Lakeside Romance - 19 July 2014

We return to Woodbury for an outdoor wedding at one of its popular country clubs. Surrounded by greenery, good weather, and gin, our intimate string trio serenaded guests (and geese alike) with a program of contemporary and classical music. The happy couple selected John Legend's beautiful "All of Me" for their sand ceremony which brought tears to their guests' eyes. Congrats to the newlyweds and soon we'll be back in Woodbury for another round of celebrations!

Love at the Arboretum - 28 June 2014

We headed out to New Jersey to provide music for an outdoor wedding at the gorgeous Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Surrounded by blooming flowers and exceptional greenery, we performed a selection of classical, pop, and rock tunes as chosen by the couple. The view was excellent and the weather just perfect for an outdoor celebration. The couple was even gracious enough to feed us during our breaks -- what luck! Congratulations to Katie & Matt!
