Perfect summer wedding on the green - 27 July 2013

On a gorgeous summer day, nothing can be better than an outdoor wedding on a beautiful green course! We played in a magical bodega and entertained the guests - pre and post-ceremony - with a selection of pop ballads, classical favs, and the very well-received Game of Thrones theme! Got to perform a few new arrangements during the very cool cocktail hour. Hope the rest of summer is this pristine!

Let's get lost in the woods - 20 July 2013

Wedding #2 of the weekend ... and it was in a beautiful upstate location in a pretty little town called Boiceville. Think of a mountain lodge with gorgeous views of rolling hills and the clear, blue sky! The perfect location for a wedding. The couple selected serene and refined "summer" classical music for the prelude and rock and indie pop tunes for their outdoor cocktail hour! The bridal party even entered from a natural rocky stairway which gave the impression they were nymphs emerging right out of mythology!

A well-known tradition - 19 July 2013

First wedding of the weekend! W00t! We take a nice, trafficky trip toward the Hamptons and stop at this quaint catholic church tucked in Wading River. With a stellar interior and wonderful acoustics, it was a prime venue for a wedding. In accordance with the church's regulations, we performed a classical and religious set of reverent and reflective pieces. Very nice to get get our hands over some classic works again!

Return to the Palace - 06 July 2013

Back again at The Palace -- this time in one of the grand ballrooms. Packed from wall-to-wall, we entertained the guests with the couple's choice of operatic loves and some traditional Persian pieces. The ceremony was a mixture of Japanese and Persian traditions so it was great to be a part of the culture enrichment. Wish we could've stayed for the cocktail hour (the food looked great!).

Celebrating marriage equality in LI - 29 June 2013

Just a few days ago, our country finally did away with DOMA and allowed all couples the same federal rates. And on this LGBTQ Pride weekend, we were honored to provide music for a same-sex wedding. The church was packed, the officiant hilarious, and the music moving. Afterwards, the couple invited us to their stunning home for the reception -- tented, catered, and with a swimming pool! Even the grooms were dressed in their best swimwear! What a great day for America!
